Open Meets

Here is our competition calendar for 2023/2024

As we approach competition dates, our competitions secretary will email details of upcoming meets, to the relevent squads which will include qualifying times, if any and who the meet is specifically aimed at.  It is important to make a note of deadlines and enter as soon as you can.  There is nothing worse than missing the deadline of a targeted meet!  The attached schedule will be updated periodically throughout the year, so please check back regularly and note any changes.

If you are at all in any doubt about what to enter, please speak with your swimmers coach or email them for help, they are always happy to hear from you.  Any questions about a specific meet, then please email meets@tdswim.club.

Due to the size and depth of our club and the volume of meets we attend and run, the role of competitions secretary is a mammoth task, and subsequently it would be amazing to have a small team who can share this responsibility.  It would not be half as much work with a team of us, each taking responsibility for a meet as we go through the swimming calendar year.  Any parents who have younger swimmers just starting out in competitions are particularly welcome to take on the lower level meets to begin with.  Training will be given, I promise.  If you have a small amount of swimming knowledge, are not afraid of a bit of IT and are organised, then I would love to hear from you.  I have done this role within a team before and it works so much better!  Please email meets@tdswim.club if you would like to find out more.
